Find out more about Whittingham Primary Academy

Whittingham Primary Academy was founded in February 2013 following the conversion of Whittingham Community Primary School to academy status. We are a larger than average two form entry school with over 420 pupils and 60 staff. At Whittingham we have a vibrant community with 17 different ethnic backgrounds represented.

At Whittingham we have a vision of passion and commitment to achieve excellence through outstanding practice and high expectations for both pupils and staff. These values are embedded in everything we do, as can be seen in our most recent Ofsted inspection:

"The school has some outstanding features.  These include the quality of leadership and management, the provision in the early years and the promotion of pupils' welfare and behaviour."  Ofsted Inspection Report July 2016
